YOUNG ADULT & PRISON MINISTRY

Sick & Shut-In Prayer & Visitation Missions Ministry

MEDIA MINISTRY
Lead by Minister C.L. Veal, the Young Adult and Prison Ministries have seen lives changed and yokes broken. We are thankful for the men and women of God in our congregation who step up and serve our surrounding community in these very needy areas. If you would like to obtain information about how you can become more involved please contact Minister Veal after service or via email at cmbc@live.com type Young Adult or Prison Ministry in the subject line.
The CMBC Media Ministry is a newly formed and fast growing department in our church. Did you realize it has been almost five years now since its founding? WOW!
Lead by Sis. C.L. Hulbert, the impact of the Media Ministry has been felt across the globe online through our website and through the utilization of social media sites.
We have also recently added online radio to our list of resources. It has given us the ability to preach the Gospel to all without limitation, to minster to our sick and shut-in through the use of our podcast and YouTube channel, to minister and reach the lost through social networking, and has shown the world what CMBC is all about!
We have come far over the past few years since we have begun, but to reach the next level we need your help. We are looking for partners who can help us continue to grow, through financial contributions which would allow us to purchase the equipment necessary to continue to broadcast online via live stream and will give us the ability to also broadcast on television. We are also looking for volunteers to assist with both the production and sales distribution of media tapings. If you are interested in becoming a media ministry partner or volunteer please contact Sister C.L. Hulbert for more information First or Fourth Sunday’s after service or via email at cmbc@live.com in the subject line type media ministry.

CMBC is committed to missions both home and foreign.
We are taking it to the streets for souls one at a time. We listen for Gods direction as we reach out through the numerous ministries here at CMBC. We are committed to be in pursuit of where and what God has for our community and city. Our goal in all our ministries is to take the life of Christ as our example of love and servanthood by helping the hurting and in need.
Home Missions
Home missions is an exciting part of our growing church. We partner with individuals and groups to improve life in our city and region. We identify needs then invest resources to restore and strengthen hope in our community by showing the love, grace and mercy of God.
Outreach opportunities exist in nursing homes throughout the Greater Baton Rouge Area. We minister in substance abuse rehabs.
Foreign Missions
The CMBC family of believers have a heart for foreign missionaries throughout the entire world. We support our missionaries both financially and with prayer.

Here at CMBC we have a dedicated missions department
for every area of need, the sick and shut-in visitation and
prayer ministry is no exception.Lead by Minister Charlie &
Evangelist Lillie Fisher, we are a very present and visible source of encouragement and comfort to many in our community.
While every church should have a ministry dedicated to the sick and shut-in as God has clearly gave us directives to do, many do not have the resources available to do so. This is where we as a family, the body of Christ must come together on one accord. We must go to their homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
We must lay aside our busy schedules and excuses, and make the sick and shut-in a priority. If you are interested in becoming apart of this ministry, or if you know someone in need of a prayer and visitation, please contact either Minister or Evangelist Fisher after church or send an email to cmbc@live.com in the subject line type sick and shut-in ministry.
Returning winter of 2015, the Tree of Life Book Club seeks to become a place where people can come together to learn, grow, and connect with one another.
Our Mission is to buid a deeper connection and a sense of unity with those in both our church and surrounding communities. To not just connect inside but also outs of the church as well as be an extension of the Love f Jesus Christ to others through our common love of books.
This is a time set aside for us to come together, connect, fellowship, and grow.
For information please contact Sis. C.L. Hulbert via email at cmbc@live.com in the subject line type Tree of Life Book Club.
